FINAL STAGE OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL REMOVAL UNDERWAY AT WAGNER FORD ROAD AND ROLFE AVENUE IN HARRISON TOWNSHIP.  COMPLETION SCHEDULED IN APRIL.

Paul Gruner, P.E., P.S., Montgomery County Engineer, announced the final stage of the traffic signal removal at the intersection of Wagner Ford Road and Rolfe Avenue is scheduled to be completed in April 2020.
Crews will be working to remove the remaining poles and other related traffic signal hardware. The traffic signal has not been operating since April 2019, and the Esther Dennis Middle School is now closed. A series of traffic intersection studies have been performed, and it has been determined the signal is not warranted and should be removed.
