Montgomery County Board of Elections Reminds Public to Request Absentee Ballots for Presidential Primary

The Montgomery County Board of Elections would like to remind citizens that the 2020 Presidential Primary has been extended to April 28, 2020, and that this primary election will only be conducted via mail. 

If you have not voted in the Presidential Primary and have not already requested or sent in your completed Absentee Ballot Request Form, you must complete and send an Absentee Ballot Request Form to get a ballot.  The first batch of ballots will be mailed April 1st.

Absentee Ballot Request Forms can be downloaded at www.montgomery.boe.ohio.gov or you can call the Montgomery County Board of Elections at (937) 225-5656, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In completing the Absentee Ballot Request form in the Election Section, please fill in the Application as follows:

  • Date of Election: March 17, 2020
  • Check Primary Election
  • Name the Political Party: Republican, Democrat or Issues for your ballot, or you may not get one in time.  

When you receive your ballot, please complete and return it immediately.  In order to be counted, ballots must be postmarked by April 27 and received in our office by May 8, 2020. The postage to return the ballot is pre-paid.
