A new, temporary location will be used
Starting Thursday, July 15, the weekly Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Meetings will return to the in-person format. However, due to ongoing renovations of the 10th Floor Hearing room, meetings will be held in the Board of Elections Board Room which is located on the Mezzanine level of the County Administration Building (451 W. Third St. in Dayton).
While the July 15 meeting is on a Thursday, all future meetings will be on Tuesdays unless otherwise noted. The meetings will be held at their usual time of 1:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and sign up to speak.
“We began holding our meetings virtually on April 7, 2020 and aside from a brief return to in-person meetings last summer, we have spent most of the last 15 months meeting virtually. We are pleased to be able to return to an in-person format.” said Montgomery County Commission President Judy Dodge.
While meetings are held in the temporary location, they will continue to be streamed on the County’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCounty) as they currently are.
