Montgomery County's Stillwater Center Holiday Giving Tree Goes Virtual

DAYTON, OH (Nov. 18, 2022) – Montgomery County’s Stillwater Center Holiday Giving Tree is going virtual for 2022. A physical giving tree is available with tags that point citizens to the virtual tree. It is shining brightly in the lobby of the Montgomery County Administration Building, located at 451 W. Third St., Dayton. The annual program provides a way for the community to get involved with fulfilling the holiday wishes of facility residents.

The Stillwater Center is an intermediate care facility that serves as a home for children and adults who are residents of Montgomery County with profound developmental disabilities and/or significant medical needs.

“We don’t measure by amount; we just measure by the heart, and anything given from the heart is the perfect gift for our folks,” said Dr. Michelle Pierce-Mobley, Director of the Stillwater Center. “If you can find it in your heart to find just some small gift for residents at Stillwater, we would certainly appreciate it.”

With each tag, you are not required to purchase every item on the list. You can get one, a few or all items. Items must be new, unwrapped and labeled with the resident's initials.

Gifts must be dropped off or shipped to the Stillwater Center by Friday, Dec. 9. The Stillwater Center's address is 8100 N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415.
